Despite not planning on having a career in intercollegiate athletics, Judy's reach and lasting impact because of her incredible leadership was felt not only as the Director of Athletics for 25 years at UCSD and President of the NCAA, but by other girl's and women from youth sports to intercollegiate athletics to professional sports. She demanded nothing less than equality and inclusion for everyone, especially women. She shouldn’t be considered one of the top 100 most influential women or people ever to impact intercollegiate sports and the NCAA but one of THEE most influential people to ever impact UCSD, intercollegiate Athletics and the NCAA. She is a member of the UCSD and University of Wisconsin's Halls-of-Fame and a true pioneer, trailblazer, and American Hero.
