The Sports Grind 1/29/24 Hour 2: It’s Fair to Say That Lamar Jackson Doesn’t Show Up in Big Games Right Now. The Kansas City Chiefs Are Chasing “Dynasty” Status. Coaching Cost the Lions Their Season.
from The Sports Grind · host The Sports Grind
After another loss in the postseason, Lamar Jackson’s playoff record sits among the likes of Dak Prescott and Alex Smith. While the Baltimore Ravens’ defense showed up on Sunday, the offense was absent, including the presumed-to-be MVP. Calvin thinks it’s fair to say that Lamar, as great as he is, is building a reputation for disappearing in the playoffs. With the win, the Kansas City Chiefs are going back to the Super Bowl and with a third in five years could achieve dynasty status, but a loss would leave more to be answered. In the NFC Championship, the Detroit Lions collapsed in the second half after losing momentum thanks to key coaching blunders at the hands of Dan Campbell and OC Ben Johnson.
