The Sports Grind 10/4/23 Hour 1: The Tampa Bay Rays Lost Game 1 to the Texas Rangers and Took A Hit For The Poor Attendance. Trevor Bauer Speaks After Settlement.
from The Sports Grind · host The Sports Grind
The MLB postseason is finally here and things got started on Tuesday. After starting the season scorching hot, the Tampa Bay Rays found themselves hosting the Texas Rangers in the wild card round. While there may not be much for “home field advantage” in baseball, that wouldn’t have helped the Rays anyway after recording the lowest attended postseason game since 1919 in the loss. Trevor Bauer could help a number of championship contenders but has been relegated to pitching in Japan due to his off-the-field issues. Now that his court case has reached a settlement, Calvin notes just how bad the former Cy Young winner got roaded in the media. Music provided by Fox Sports 1380 El Paso
