The Sports Grind 4/2/24 Hour 1: San Antonio Spurs Lose Two Starters For Final Seven Games. Houston Astros’ Ronel Blanco Picks a Tough Night for No-Hitter. Angel Reese Emotional After LSU Loss.

There’s a ton to get to on The Docket today, but there are a few regional notes in Texas to get out of the way. The San Antonio Spurs announced that the season has ended for starters Devin Vassell and Jeremy Sochan for injury reasons with just seven games left. Calvin feels it is only a matter of time before Victor Wembanayma joins them on the bench to stay ready for next year. While the world was watching women’s college basketball, the Houston Astros rocked the Toronto Blue Jays and pitcher Ronel Blanco delivered a no-hitter in just his eighth appearance in the big league. Getting into the NCAAW tournament, Iowa and UConn punched their tickets for the Final Four, defeating LSU and USC respectively. At the podium after the loss, Angel Reese got emotional with an important message. Music provided by Fox Sports 1380 El Paso
