Caitlin Clark may be the biggest thing to happen to the WNBA since it was created, or at least that’s the way she’s being marketed. After going first overall in the draft to the Indiana Fever, her jersey has reached NFL numbers and now she’s inked the largest endorsement contract for a professional woman’s athlete, and with Nike to boot. The pressure on her to deliver is reaching astronomic levels. In the NBA, the Dallas Mavericks and the Indiana Pacers slapped in their respective series last night, evening things up with the Los Angeles Clippers and the Milwaukee Bucks. Also in the NBA, the Association has admitted that the controversial ending to the Philadelphia 76ers’ loss to the New York Knicks on Monday night was so with reason, confirming that the officials made numerous mistakes in the final seconds.
