The Sports Grind 5/13/24 Hour 2: Oklahoma City Thunder and Cleveland Cavaliers Fighting For Respect Tonight. San Antonio Spurs Land Pair of Top-8 Picks and Have Plenty of Options.

Tonight’s slate of games in the 2024 NBA Playoffs is a pivotal one as the Oklahoma City Thunder and Cleveland Cavaliers could either even their respective series or fall behind 3-1. Yesterday’s NBA Draft Lottery shocked the world as the Atlanta Hawks hit on a 3% chance to win the top pick this year, upsetting the Detroit Pistons who fell to No.5. For the San Antonio Spurs it couldn’t have gone much better, walking away with the No.4 pick (their own) and No.8 (via Toronto Raptors). Using the picks could return some young talent to the rising franchise, but one or both of the picks could also be flipped for a veteran up “the process”.  Music provided by Fox Sports 1380 El Paso
