The Sports Grind 5/22/24 Hour 3: Lakers Selling Fans “Pat Riley-Like” Story With JJ Reddick. Russell Wilson and Justin Fields Meet the Pittsburgh Media. Brandin Cooks’ Warning to the Dallas Cowboys.

There’s a feeling that LeBron James’ influence on the front office of the Los Angeles Lakers has faded. Still, it feels like the organization is in spin-control mode as they are considering JJ Reddick - James’ podcast partner - for the head coach vacancy, and invoking the name of Pat Riley in the process. Getting into the NFL, Russell Wilson and Justin Fields spoke with the Pittsburgh media at Steelers’ OTAs and how they each discussed the quarterback position is interesting. Down in Dallas, Cowboys receiver Brandin Cooks may have spoken above his pay grade when publicly forecasting troubles for the front office as Dak Prescott looks to have another strong season.
