The Spotlight plays some new Rachel Flowers and other material from around the web

from The Independent artist spotlight

Hello gang,Welcome to the program, I'm Jared. Today, we'll play a mix of artists including some new just released material by the Haas sisters, back work from Robert Rich and Scott Lawlor that was mentioned in prior programs, a just released track in almost 2 years for Rachel Flowers and more. We may celebrate a launch party too for my recent project as part of the Metro project I'm doing. Hope you enjoy the program! Links to albums can be found through my bandcamp page which will be given on air. Set 1:Protocol was released on June 19th, 2026. This is going to maybe make some people angry, some people happy, and some people ... well, you be the judge. The bandcamp page which is voiced on air will discuss the track more in detail and give you the lyrics of the track. We also play a bit from some of her other releases. The first track I did not hear, but its as good as the other album we recently got and played. Charles Sepanic released his album through Heart Dance on June 19th, and we play several from it. Mark Round is described as painting with music. The only album found on the page we have is a 1998 album titled Painting Twighlight. All of this is coming up on this next set.Playlist:Natalie & Brittany Haas Swan Carnival 04:41Natalie & Brittany Haas Groundhog Hotel 03:46Natalie & Brittany Haas The Noah Polska 02:52Natalie & Brittany Haas Turn Down the Bed 04:50Charles Szczepanek For the Beauty of the Earth 02:39Charles Szczepanek Ave Maria 03:01Mark Rownd The First Day 01:28Mark Rownd At The Edge Of Calm Waters 01:55Mark Rownd At The Edge Of Calm Waters - II 01:58Mark Rownd Painting Twilight 11:02Set 3:Steve Roach makes an appearance with an album I now remember we played tracks 10 and 11 on a Sunday show. I never moved it over. Brothers of the Drone, Sisters of the Drone is a 2024 release but I don't remember where we got it from. This is a 94 minute set with Steve playing 3 of the 9 physical tracks instead of revisiting the two tracks I played previously.
