The Spurs stepping up the physicality and toughness early in the season

San Antonio has shown some good, some bad, and some ugly early on in this young season. They win the home opener in a game that last year they probably would have lost and showed something that they didn’t have a year ago: physicality. Matt Roy, Don Harris, and Chuck Miketinac are all over the Spurs today on the SAC pod. Plus, the Cowboys lost, once again, to the 49ers in a prime time slot and this game was not as close as the final score indicates. They get out outplayed and drop to 3-4 on the season while Trevon Diggs attacks a reporter verbally after the contest. Things not looking good in Big D. And the guys go around the league talking about the big storylines in the NFL, including Anthony Richardson subbing himself out of a game… Which is something Matt isn’t taking too well.
