Luna is trapped in the lighthouse after the older Luna vanished and moths filled the lamp room. She finds a letter from her own hand dated 1997 warning that the vanished keeper is still between the mirrors. Descending a hidden stairwell filling with saltwater, she discovers a flooded room where the keeper, Arthur, waits—but he is not alone. Something older than the lighthouse breathes beneath the water, and Arthur speaks of a bargain Luna made in a timeline she cannot remember.
