The Start-The Strange thing about the Johnsons

This is definitely a strange one, no pun intended. As we look at Ari Aster's directorial debut we follow the story of Sidney who has no way of escaping the forceful love of his son Isaiah, without giving away too much. However, this is a film that later birthed his full debut in Hereditary. Sticking to a lot of tropes that brought him success such as blocking shots and the downfall of a family, this film while shocking, to say the least, showcases just how much potential Aster has and why we are excited to see what comes next. Even if it may be strange.
