The State of Men's Souls

King David is known by many for being a man after God's own heart. His sin against God is something that is rarely discussed, and when it is mentioned, there can be a tendency to use his fall as an example of God forgiving a great leader. But in order for us to understand why God forgave David, we must return to the Word of God and take a closer look at his sin and the state of this man's soul in his sin against God.
