The State of the State of Emergency

Welcome to 2022. Or as some have called it, the third year of “15 Days to Flatten the Curve!” The State of Washington has been in a “state of emergency” for (as of today) 674 days. Despite calls for the Governor to end the ongoing “emergency,” the appeal has fallen upon deaf ears. Why is that? The answer is the same today as it was more than 670 days ago. And the same as it will be in another 600 days.
