The Static at Flatrock Reservoir

It's August of 2018 in the town of Mercer, Ohio. Luna's cousin Danny takes a summer job at the Flatrock Reservoir dam, monitoring the water level from a concrete tower that juts out of the lake like a tombstone. The job is easy until he starts hearing whispers in the static of the maintenance radio—a low, metallic voice that speaks in numbers and names. At first he thinks it's a prank.
