The Steve and Kyle Podcast, 10/4/16

Recording this week's episode of the Steve and Kyle Podcast started a bit later than usual because Kyle had lots of adult things to do today.  He had to cut the grass, wait for a repairman to come to the house and then spent way too long on the phone with customer service from his cable company.  This led to some discussion about some awful customer service experiences, including one that Steve experienced just hours ago.  Even though the employees were trying to help, both Steve and Kyle were beyond irritated with them.   The guys discussed their encounter with "Captain Bowling" last week…a guy who was really "in your face" and dropped a crazy revelation to Steve during normal conversation.   Steve and Kyle attempted to make plans to go golfing soon, but it may not happen because of busy schedules, including Steve's 8-hour-long volunteer gig this weekend at Pulaski Days in Grand Rapids. Kyle revealed that back in third grade, he had high career aspirations.  Did he want to be a football player?  An astronaut?  Maybe a race car driver?  Nope.  His goals were a bit more…realistic.  And sad. The guys closed the episode by checking out the new Nike self-lacing shoes, inspired by the shoes that Marty wore in Back to the Future Part 2.
