The Stories Our Bodies Tell!
from RoseColoredGlasses - The Podcast · host Mari E
Send us Fan MailIn this episode, I share a little bit of everything—from my belief that many of us need 30 days off to recover from the relentless pace of the rat race, to my ongoing joy of graduating with my Master's degree. And yes, you'll hear me mention that accomplishment more than once, because I am incredibly proud of myself. Now that the deadlines, papers, presentations, and late nights are behind me, I find myself entering a new season—one of organizing, creating, and expanding. It begins with my Artist's Room, continues with the final edits of my forthcoming reflective journal, The Mommy Toolbox, and extends into every area of my life that is ready for renewal.I have learned that I create best in spaces that are clear, organized, and intentional. As I streamline my surroundings, I am also preparing for the future I desire. Since I am ready for my forever fella and life partner, I have decided it is time to make room for him—literally and figuratively. One nightstand has already been cleared; now it's time to tackle the closet. Most importantly, I share a powerful realization: your body tells the story of your life. It remembers what you've experienced, what you've carried, what you've celebrated, and what you've survived. As such, we need to LOVE OUR BODY.
