The Storm Drain at the End of Cedar Avenue

In October of 2017, on the last warm night before winter, a boy named Danny Morrison disappeared from the corner of Cedar and Sycamore in the town of Millbrook, Indiana. He was ten years old, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, and he was last seen kneeling by the open grate of a storm drain. Two weeks later, his father found the sweatshirt—clean, folded, and laid out on the kitchen table.
