Linton began his musical career at an early age. He began playing the trumpet while in elementary school. As Linton moved through elementary school, the band director noticed Linton’s ability and began giving him lessons.  His musical career continued into his high school days where he playied in the band .In 1999 he began to play in church worship services and performed special songs on occasion.  Linton’s freshman project Salt Of The Earth Inspiration Volume 1 was released in March 2002. In 2005, Smith released his sophomore CD project called Friend. In 2006 his wife released her debut CD Project, Night Song. Many more musical projects followed for them both.While Linton Smith Jr. shares his love and annointed gift of playing the trumpet, Louise Smith smoothly renders her voice to the lyrics and engages all who listen to this dynamic duo.Louise Smith’s earliest recollection of singing and playing the piano was around the age of four. She began playing for the Sunday school Choir at age seven and the church service at nine. She has been a composer since the age of 11.She has traveled the eastern and mid-western United States and California singing and exhorting the gospel. She has shared the stage with such greats as Lee Williams, Melvin Williams, Richard Smallwood, John P Kee, Donnie Harper and the New Jersey Mass Choir, Helen Baylor and Babbie Mason to name a few. Many have compared Louise’s sound to Roberta Flack, Anita Baker, Patty Paige, Ann Murray, Sarah Vaughan, Tramaine D. Hawkins, and Dannibelle Hall.Linton and Louise are members of the South Carolina Arts Commission as gospel/jazz performing artists. When accompanied with the smooth vocal stylist of his charming wife Louise Marie, you’ll receive a double portion of expression.
