The Story of Corporate

Originally recorded in January 2022, I held this episode so I could build a series including other people I used to work with.  Kendra Foerster also took her photography/videography business full-time and had to build a fabulous new website www.portraitsbykendra.ca. Kendra and Kerry Anne Rothe of Dock 45 Inc. were part of the communications team I worked with when I starred in a series of corporate change management videos designed to encourage staff to use a newly renovated office in different way.  This was my first foray into video and it was one of the ways I raised my personal visibility when working remotely.  One of our shoots coincided with grade 9 day - the day when you bring your teenager to work.  I didn't have an office to bring her to so I ended up designing the day myself.  She was a production assistant and go to operate the clapper used for editing.  Kendra and Kerry Anne were so helpful in making this an experience to remember.  My kid went back to school and had the best stories of anyone else in her class. We talk about change management, storytelling, how to use a teleprompter (hint, hint - DON'T!).  And of course there is a George Michael/Wham! story.....
