THE STORY OF RADHA THERA - Dhammapada Verse 76

Welcome back to the Sutta Meditation Series Podcast. Today we look at Dhammapada Verse 76 - Radhathera Vatthu about a poor old brahmin who, with the help of the Buddha, was ordained into the Order of the Sangha and was praised for his qualities of being easy to instruct and take feedback, diligence and attaining full liberation. It is in the Chapter about the Wise (Paṇḍita Vagga). The verse in Pali: Nidhīnaṃva pavattāraṃ, yaṃ passe vajjadassinaṃ; Niggayhavādiṃ medhāviṃ, tādisaṃ paṇḍitaṃ bhaje; Tādisaṃ bhajamānassa, seyyo hoti na pāpiyo.
