His latest book is called, The Story of the Human Body: Evolution, Health and Disease. We talk about the prevalence of mismatch diseases common in our modern environment. Prof Lieberman says that diseases such as: Type II diabetes, heart disease, flat feet, myopia, osteoporosis, allergies, asthma, Crohn's, certain cancers, and a host of other diseases may be due to a mismatch between our current environment and the way we evolved to thrive.
