The Story that Hits Different Pt. 5: The Davidic Covenant

Check us out: https://linktr.ee/ccclh_ym In this episode, we are talking about the covenant God made with King David in 2 Samuel 7. Far more than a promise to one man, this covenant revealed God’s plan to establish His kingdom forever through David’s line. We’ll journey from the covenants with Noah, Abraham, and Moses into the rise of David, explore the promises of dynasty, throne, and steadfast love, and see how the Psalms and prophets nurtured Israel’s hope for a coming King. We’ll rejoice in the New Testament’s bold claim that Jesus is the Son of David, the true King who fulfills every promise.
