This episode features The Stranglers and an Interview with Baz Warne who has been in the band for 25 years. Baz has written a book (No Grass Grows On a Busy Street) about his 25 years in the band and todays episode features our chat with him where he covers everything you would want, as a fan or simply as a listener. Its open, candid and genuinely fascinating about his time in the Band, some stories you may know but there are also things that Baz shares that maybe not as well know. The Stranglers whilst they have been going since 1974 have had a few incarnations and we cover those in the episode. The Stranglers are often pulled into the "punk" genre but in reality, most fans wouldn't see them in that area. The band have achieved 23 UK top 40 singles, 20 UK top 40 albums and the original lineup (from 1974-1990) reached no 2 with one of their most well known songs Golden Brown and the most recent lineup achieved a no 3 album with Dark Matters.
