The Struggle is Real — Anger

This message examines anger through Matthew 5:21-26 , part of the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus moves past the letter of "you shall not murder" to its intent, addressing the attitude of the heart rather than only the outward act. The Pharisees who could check off the commandment were, at that very moment, plotting Jesus' death. Anger that seeks to destroy is treated as a form of murder. Yet anger itself is not always sin; Scripture shows righteous anger that cares about others and attacks injustice rather than the person. The teaching ties anger to worship: an unreconciled relationship hinders communion with God, so reconciliation comes first.
