The Student

The beat was given to me by a friend who gave me a large batch (CD) of "throwaway" beats. Most of them were just quick intro, verse, bridge, chorus, outro, at the most. I would chop them up into a length suitable for lyrics that I wrote and I would just rhyme over the beat, tweaking the length or adding lines to get it just right. This batch of beats were given to me around 2003-ish and I wrote to it around 2012. This is what it ended up being.
