The Suicide Squad (2021)
from Sequelcast 2 and Friends Hosted by Mat Bradley-Tschirgi
Hosts Mat Bradley-Tschirgi, Thrasher, and Alex Miller discuss the second film of the Suicide Squad duology. Bad guys help a rogue group destroy evidence of an experimental laboratory. Starring Pete Davidson, Viola Davis, Idris Elba, Margot Robbie & Will Smith. The Suicide Squad goes for a more comedic bent than its predecessor. After an opening that misleads viewers, the plot starts in earnest. Sure, it feels a bit long, but the loose feel to everything along with the increased gore and language makes this feel more like Tarantino than whatever goth vibe the last movie was going for.
