The Suicide Squad Review - Movie Review Friday (but on a Monday)

If it’s not the most hyped movie of 2021 so far overall, it is definitely the most hyped we have been for a movie so far this year! That movie is, of course, The Suicide Squad, written and directed by James Gunn. There are so many storylines coming into this movie: the infamous Marvel firing/DC hiring, a second attempt at the Suicide Squad franchise, the hard-R rating, I mean, we could go on. But the difficult thing with movies that are hyped up as much as this one is that they then must live up to it.
