The Suitcase Junket

from Folk Alley Sessions · host folkalley

The Suitcase Junket is as much a visual experience as an aural one. Vermont-born Matt Lorenz is literally a one-man band - singing and playing his dumpster-dive guitar along with a percussive contraption with a core that once saw life as a suitcase. Other bits and pieces include a circular saw blade, silverware, a cook pot, old chair parts and a baby shoe that was worn by both Lorenz and his sister. His musical style is true Americana with a little of a lot of genres rolled into something all his own. Hear the interview and see the videos captured at the studios of Beehive Productions in Saranac Lake, New York, and experience The Suitcase Junket for yourself.
