The Summer of Love

The Vinyl Tap time machine is still in 1967 as we feature more of the great music made that year. As Randy Bachman reminds us,  1967 and the “summer of love” was a time of change.  And a bit of science fiction as well.   Montreal hosted the world for Expo ’67.  The first issue of Rolling Stone magazine came out.  The Beatles created Sgt Pepper. The first human heart transplant was performed. Woodstock was still two years away.  So was the Apollo moon landing. And the music was great.  We’ll from The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Traffic, Jefferson Airplane, The Moody Blues, The Guess Who and many others.
