The Superhero Parables: The Amazing Spider-Man

“Parable” = a story that has a spiritual point. For several years, one of the biggest entertainment crazes in Hollywood has been the stories of Marvel & DC comic book heroes. “Where do these superheroes come from? How did they get their powers? What is their duty to mankind now that they have these powers?” These are the questions that have us flocking to the theatres. Inside of each of these creative stories are deep spiritual truths—lessons that will challenge us to seek a deeper relationship with God.
