As long as our perspective of Jesus is shrunken, we will always be tempted to look elsewhere for completeness, for blessing, and satisfaction. This temptation to look beyond Jesus for rescue is nothing new. The early church in Colossae was under attack with the lies of religion as are we today. How do we combat this? What is the antidote to a small view of Jesus and the gospel? The apostle Paul shows us.
