Michael is the President and CEO of the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU, a constitutional lawyer, writer, and an expert on the presidency and American democracy. He has a new book, The Supermajority: How The Supreme Court Divided America. Rick and Michael discuss how the court has completely gotten caught up in the power it has and lost touch with the people for which it serves. They cover several recent landmark cases which have set America back and Michael makes the parallel between this court and others throughout history. Rick asks Michael what the solution to the present problem is and gets a meaningful response.
