THE TABLE IS ALREADY SET

The Table Is Already Set One of the most comforting truths in Scripture is that God never reacts in panic. He is always ahead of us. Psalm 23:5 “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.” David didn’t say that God might prepare a table. He said, “Thou preparest a table before me.” Before the battle, before the burden, before the uncertainty, God had already made provisions for David. Before David ever arrived, the table had already been set.
