The Table of Shewbread: Christ My Sustenance

It seems logical that we would follow last week's message on the Mercy Seat with a focus on the Veil and Alter of Incense. However, the narrative skips to the Table of Shewbread. I tried to hold to my "orderly" plan, but the Holy Spirit kept returning me to the order of Scripture. In John 1, "the Word became flesh and dwelt (or 'tabernacled') among us." This was represented in the Holy of holies. Then Messiah's first "I am" reveals in John 6, "I am the bread of life." Every Jew would picture manna and the Table of Shewbread. Lifegiving sustenance.
