Eight senators joined Republicans for a vote over the weekend, leading to a possible deal on the government shutdown. House Democrats are disappointed by their peers in the upper chamber who compromised with members on the other side of the aisle. The Trump Administration is trying to counter the affordability argument made by Democrats during the off-year elections.
