The Taking of Pelham One Two Three 1974 and 2009

For READY PLAYER ONE we do some counting of our own, though as usual we can only manage getting up to two movies. No matter, as this time our original film is the Walter Matthau starring THE TAKING OF PELHAM ONE TWO THREE from 1974 and our remake casts Denzel Washington in 2009 for the same part as a train conductor trying to negotiate the release of hostages in New York's subway tunnels.
