The time has come! As a Law Enforcement Officer i had always felt that the topic just didn't apply to me. In recent weeks i couldn't help but ponder the idea..what if my son did not come home...or what he was shot by mistake by the police. Wearing the wrong clothes can draw a target but also the color of his skin could one day play a role in future nightmares. I can say that i do the best i can when it comes down to informing my children of the dangers outside the home and i pray that i never get that call and its my son on the ground. Not every officer has hate or some type of bias but the bad apples can often spoil and entire state!
