The Tangent Factory Trailer

Hello everyone, my name is Jess and this is The Tangent Factory podcast. I am so excited to finally be able to announce this. This has been a project built out of passion and out of a dream, and I genuinely can't believe it's almost here.If you're anything like me then you're the kind of person who has a thirst to find out why. Why is the sky blue? Why does the air in a plane cabin feel so dry? Why do dog breeds look so wildly different from each other and yet can still produce offspring together? Well that's what we do here at The Tangent Factory. At some point in the week something will have caught my attention and sent me off down a rabbit hole, and the episode that follows will be everything I learned along the way.Sometimes that's science, sometimes it's food, sometimes it's animal behaviour or engineering or psychology or something so mundane that you'd never think to question it, and yet once you start pulling on that thread you just cannot stop.I'm just a software engineer from Liverpool with an enormous appetite for learning and honestly very little ability to keep that to myself. I don't claim to be an expert in any of this, I'm just someone who finds the world genuinely fascinating and wants to share that. So I really hope you enjoy the things I discover along the way as much as I do.It's just me at The Tangent Factory at the minute, cranking out the tangents on my own, writing, recording and producing each episode, so bear with me on release schedules. I'm still figuring out the best rhythm but I promise I will always be honest with you about where I'm at.
