Luna recounts a favor for an old friend from high school — cataloging a box of unsorted VHS tapes found in the AV club storage closet of Millbrook High, a small-town school in upstate New York. The tapes, dated spring 1999, appear to be routine: a talent show, a faculty meeting, a baseball game. But one tape, labeled only 'May 17,' shows something that isn't on any schedule.
