The Tartaria Conspiracy: Was a Global Civilization Erased?

Look out your window. Why do so many old buildings have windows that go halfway into the ground? If you believe the internet’s wildest rabbit hole, those aren't basement windows—they are the top floor of a lost world we literally buried. Welcome to the Tartaria Mud Flood. In this episode, we are digging up the most viral conspiracy theory of the decade. The theory claims that a massive, technologically advanced "Tartarian Empire" was wiped out by a global cataclysm in the 1800s, and our history books were rewritten to cover it up. Are our government buildings actually their leftovers? Was there a "Great Reset" of humanity less than 200 years ago?We strip away the tinfoil hats to look at the hard evidence. From the "impossible" architecture of the World's Fairs to the very real (and very messy) history of Raising Chicago and the Seattle Underground. We explore why cities really have buried layers—is it a global cover-up, or just extreme Victorian urban planning? But there is a darker side to the mud. We also expose how this "fun" theory about hidden history acts as a gateway to dangerous political ideologies and far-right revisionism.Whether you’re a history buff, an architecture nerd, or just love a good mystery, this episode unearths the truth beneath the pavement.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/thrilling-threads-conspiracy-theories-strange-phenomena-true-crime-unsolved-mysteries-etc--5995429/support.ThrillingThreadsPod.com - Unravel the Unknown.
