Luke tells of the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness. Jesus never failed us. He knew His purpose and what His calling was. Jesus starts His public ministry in Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and He was praised by all. He announced His purpose was to preach to poor, to give sight to the blind, and to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord. He healed many. He casted out demons and laid hands on the sick and they recovered. He came to preach the kingdom of God.
