The Tender Words of God: Our Calling

Israel faced exile after rejecting God, yet He told the prophet Isaiah to speak tenderly because their hard service would end. Babylon’s apparent glory would wither like grass, but God’s promise to bring His people home would stand forever. That promise reaches its greater rescue in Jesus.
