The Terra Surfers aren't only one of those bands, but they're a cut above. Based in landlocked Colorado Springs, CO, they look to the past, add a dash of this or that genre, and create fresh surf sounds that you'd swear came right out of southern California. In late 2025 they dropped a fantastic debut EP called Mountain Waves and for a relatively new band they sound like they've been at this for years.
