The Texarkana Phantom Serial Killer
Have you ever heard of the "Town that Dreaded Sundown?" This description was established from the series of unsolved murders and attacks that were committed in and around the Texarkana region in the spring of 1946. The still unidentified serial killer has been credited with the attacks of eight individuals, five whom were brutally murdered in a span of ten weeks. How was the Phantom Killer never identified after all of these years? Did he just stop the crimes altogether or did he move to a different location and continued his spree? Why did he only target couples? This is the story of the Phantom Serial Killer, also known as the "Texarkana Moonlight Murders."
