THE THING (1982)
from Aya Vs. The Big Boys Hosted by Kevin Cookman, Aya Lehman
This week's second showdown has Aya squaring off against the holy grail of gross-out horror, John Carpenter's THE THING. This testosterone fueled story of isolation and paranoia proved to be almost too apropos of our current quarantine lockdown, leading Kevin and Aya to both face down some demons of their own. We've got icky gore, we've got consensus on what a total babe Kurt Russell is, we've got discussion of the monthly body horror that is having your period, what more do you want??
