The Things That Are God's

That's not a fun question to ask, but it is the question that Christians have normally had to engage together. The key is not so much to focus on our resistance to governing authorities, but rather our allegiance to God and what that requires of us. In Mark 12:13–17, Jesus answered a question about taxes in which he said, "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's."
