You might be wondering what “Thinklings” actually means! The podcast’s title is a dedication and homage to a few great writers and thinkers of the past (C.S. Lewis & J.R.R. Tolkien, to name a few). This former group was called “The Inklings” as they dedicated themselves to writing and meeting regularly to discuss their writings. With this same goal in mind, The Thinklings are a group of friends who seek to dedicate themselves to the life and habits of the mind. The Thinklings – Charlie Carter, Tim Little, and Andy Stearns introduce themselves during this inaugural podcast! They each share a short portion of their personal story of how we all created this podcast. As you will hear often, the heart of the podcast is to read good books and talk about them with your friends (as we do each week).
