Bennett Lost the 1935 Canadian Federal Election published by Amazon Books in 2022. For twenty years, Maxwell researched the reasons for the Conservatives’ momentous loss to the Liberals in the 1935 general election in the midst of the Great Depression. His historical analysis pinpoints five reasons for the defeat, each of which is explored in depth in a separate chapter.
