原著作者｜吕丽娜 Once upon a time in a sunny little village lived a boy named Timmy Timmy had a bad habit He loved to sleep late and do nothing all day His favorite word was "Later" "Timmy, look at the blue sky," said his mom "Later," yawned Timmy "Timmy, let's fly a kite!" shouted his friends "Later," said Timmy and he closed his eyes again One morning Timmy met a mysterious old owl at the Time Bank The owl handed him a heavy bag of magic gold coins "Here are eighty-six thousand four hundred coins," said the owl "You can buy anything you want today— but remember," The owl leaned closer: "Any coin you do not spend by night will turn into gray dust. You cannot keep them." Timmy took the bag home "I am rich," he thought, "I have so much gold—I can relax now. I will spend it later." He lay on the soft grass and took a long nap He heard his friends laughing outside but he did not move When the sun went down Timmy finally woke up His friends ran to him their faces glowing with joy "Timmy," they said, "We bought huge ice creams and we saw a double rainbow— it was magic!" Timmy grabbed his bag "I want ice cream and rainbows too! I have lots of gold!" He opened the bag But the bag was light All the shiny gold coins had turned into gray dust The wind blew the dust away Timmy cried: "Wait, come back!" But the rainbow was gone and the day was over He realized that all his gold could not buy back the sunset he missed The next morning the bag was full of gold again Timmy did not sleep He jumped out of bed He ran to his mom and bought a morning hug He ran to his friends and bought a day of adventure He used every coin to make a happy memory That night the bag was empty but Timmy smiled He learned that the coins are time— once they are gone they never come back前往小宇宙评论区与主播互动
