Vlad Lukin, Certified Watchmaker, Lukin High-End Watch Services, is from Ukraine. His parents brought him to the United states when he was six years old. He learned English relatively quickly. Although he made friends he still felt like an outsider. During and after high school he studied martial arts which added a measure of discipline to his life. Ra-ther than go to college he travel and experienced a number of jobs. His father is a watchmaker, but he wasn’t sure that is what he wanted to do until he got a chance to attend a premier watch-making certification program. The discipline he gained early in life enhanced his ability to excel in the industry today. It’s a great podcast.
